Aloooooooha!
It has been quite some time since I last blogged.
Today was an exciting day for me, knowing that my kids' composition
scripts were being marked in those four classrooms opposite mine in YCKPS.
I learnt some new things while I was marking and I can't wait to share it
with my future class. No point trying it out with my current class.
In about one month's time, it's Auld Lang Sang for everyone.
I am toying with an idea to come up with a poem for my beloved
graduating class. You know, when emotions flow, you just have
to capture them somehow and the best subtle way of expressing those
emotions is by penning poems.
Hmmm...... Brain cells working doubly hard now.
This is going to be no mean feat, considering I am NOT a Literature
graduate or person.

R A N D O M T H O U G H T S
I wonder any of my kids is clever enough to spot my writing or rather, blogging style.
How do I usually start each post?
Seriously, looking back at my previous blog where I blogged about my darkest secrets,
I feel that I am a much better writer nowadays.
Oh yes, I started reading "P.S. I Love You" and I cried before Chapter 2.
Gosh. I can be so emotional.
I don't know if I am a sadist or what but I actually suddenly have this "secret" desire
to teach P6 again... or take a P5 class next year and follow them up to P6.
I must be
crazy to even have that thought in me.
One of my kids aptly summed up the most practical thing I should do when it comes
to the class/ level to teach next year.
Kids: Mdm Chia, which level are you going to teach next year?
Me: Most probably P4. Mrs James wants this year's P6 teachers to go down to P4
and we will follow the same class up to P6.
Ke Xuan (shouts): Mdm Chia! My mother says if you teach P6 again, you no need
to give birth already!
Me: ..............

I cannot believe my eyes.
PSLE is nearing to an end. Am I dreaming?
*smack smack pinch pinch
For these gruelling 9 months, it was really the ultimate sacrifice.
I neglected my family, friends and most importantly, Cutie.
Now, I must make up for the lost time.
Personal matters: Book appointments for facials to clear congested pores,
trim and layer my hair (aiming for this Wednesday with Nai Mun), pedicure
and most importantly, EXERCISE!!! Urghhh...... I used to be so fit.
Silver for 2.4 km.
If I can get up early tomorrow to jog, I will blog about my "achievement".
One step at a time. After all, it has been 1.5 years ago since I last went for a jog.

*Disclaimer: I did not get to see the questions and my opinions are formed based on what I heard from colleagues and 6 Hopers.
I thought that the
PSLE English compo paper was quite an okay one.
(Somewhat similar to their Prelim paper. Yay! :P)
PSLE EL paper 2 was fair. A good mix of easy and difficult ones.
PSLE Mathematics......
Err......
Quite unexpected.
It pained me to see my lovable and cheerful 6 Hopers' crestfallen and teary faces after they came out of the exam room. Cheer up, my dears!!!
Don't cry anymore. Don't think about it anymore.
The "kiasu" me quickly called up my NIE friends in two other schools and they also told me it was tough and tricky. I was also informed by my colleague that 2 years ago, the Math paper was also tough and there were pupils who cried when they came out of the exam room. But overall, they still did quite okay.
6 Hope, keep your spirits up! Persevere! Things may not be as bad as you have imagined. :)

I forgave my kid after she explained it was just meant to be a joke. :)
Love you too! :)
6 Hope, do your very very best for the coming PSLE on Wed.
Put in all that you have got, okie!
Fluffy Food Company is churning something for you all next week! :)

Adding on. I forgot something.
The two kids asked me where their Children's Day food was.
The above is still reported
emotionlessly.
4:34 PM
I decide to talk about
this as
EMOTIONLESSLY as possible.
Two of my kids told me that they prefer food to stationery
after they saw their neighbour class having lollipops and pizzas
during recess.
Scroll down to my Children's Day entry.
Period. Factual report.
I
take back whatever I had said in that entry.
